There’s no quick answer or easy way to figure out how much to grow - it’s all very personal to your family and how you store and consume food. I created this workbook (and yes, it does require some thinking) for the more analytical folks like myself to figure out how much they should grow. I’ve used this method for a few years now and have found it to be a pretty good process for estimating consumption and planning our homestead garden.
