January Word of the Month - RECHARGE

The year starts slow

And like a ball of rolling winter snow

Gains momentum

The days grow lighter

And it feels like time moves faster

And faster and faster

We roll through towards the end of the year

At times barely hanging on

Until we reach a full STOP

My mind is begging for the slowness that January offers

Space, time, energy

To explore ideas and goals

While the days are still full of darkness

I intend to use the space created by slowness

To visualize my gardens

I intend to use the time inside

to learn about sourdough

I intend to use the energy created by the calmness

To fall into a new routine that is centered on goals and intention

To focus

To center

To recharge
